Health & Social Care Moray (HSCM) will hand over the management and operation of Aberlour Medical Practice to Speyside Medical Group on Tuesday, 1 April 2025.
The transfer will ensure continuity of care for the practiceโs 3,000 patients.
Speyside Medical Group is an experienced team of partners who already manage Glenlivet Medical Practice and Grantown Medical Practice. They are looking forward to welcoming Aberlour Medical Practice to their group.
Dr Julie McIlwaine, a partner at Speyside Medical Group, said: โWe have had the pleasure of visiting the practice a number of times in the last few months and have felt very welcome. A strong clinical team will be in place at Aberlour, many of whom will already be familiar to patients, and which will be supported by the existing administrative staff and practice manager.

HSCM has overseen Aberlour Medical Practice since February 2024, when the previous GP contract holder stepped down.
