Sensory Support Service

Opened: 01 Aug 2024. Closed: 13 Sept 2024. Engagement was carried out with people who have lived experience of sensory loss or impairment, and their supporters, with the help of North East Sensory Support Service (NESS).
We heard from just over 100 people who told us about the challenges they experience to living as well and as independently as possible, the improvements to health and social care services which would make the biggest difference, and what a specialist sensory support service needs to offer.
We will use our learning from the engagement to inform the planning and design of service improvements to bring about better outcomes.

Moray Coast Medical Practice - proposed permanent closure of Burghead and Hopeman branch surgeries

Review of the Moray Joint Board Integration Scheme

Opened: 01 Dec 2021 . Closed: 22 Dec 2021. The Integration Scheme sets out the responsibilities and governance arrangements of the Moray Integration Joint Board.
The first scheme describing the integration arrangements to be adopted by NHS Grampian and Moray Council was approved in 2016. Revisions were made and approved in 2018 to reflect the implementation of the Carers (Scotland) Act.
Following a further review, NHS Grampian and Moray Council are in agreement that the voting members from each partner organisation should be increased by one from three members to four. This revision was consulted on in April 2021.
A successor Integration Scheme 2021 has been formally prepared to reflect this change. A small number of technical changes have also been made to provide further clarification on minor issues and to adjust grammar.
A further period of consultation was undertaken to give stakeholders the opportunity to provide comment on any issues they wish to raise with regard to the successor Integration Scheme. This was to ensure that integrated services can be planned and led locally in a way which is engaged with the community.
No comments were received during the consultation period. The Scheme has been submitted to the Scottish Government for approval.
The successor Integration Scheme 2021 is available here.
