Localities

The Moray Integration Joint Board has published its strategic plan, Moray Partners in Care, which sets priority themes to improve the health and wellbeing outcomes of all adults in Moray.

To make sure health and social care services reflect the priorities and respond to the needs and issues of local communities, locality plans are developed following a “bottom up” approach to provide a framework for improvement from the perspective of local people who use and deliver health and social care services.

Locality managers lead on the development of locality planning for the following four areas

Buckie, Cullen and Fochabers

Elgin

Forres and Lossiemouth

Keith and Speyside

Local representatives – including health and social care professionals, third and independent sectors, housing, service users and carers – will collaborate in each locality to influence and inform service planning as we move towards achieving the objectives set out in the Strategic Plan.

Locality planning groups aims to have a real influence on how resources are spent or redirected in their areas and will make recommendations to the Board’s Strategic Planning and Commissioning Group.
